AURONZO DI CADORE (BL) - ITALY, 01/07- 04/07/2021
COVID-19 ANTI-CONTAGION MEASURES
THE COMPETITIONS ARE CARRIED OUT ON THE BASIS OF THE POST EMERGENCY “COVID-19” PROTOCOL WHICH WILL BE CONSTANTLY UPDATED TO EUROPEAN AND ITALIAN GOVERNMENT AND SPORTS REGULATIONS.
ROAD CONDITIONS IN VENETO (distance from Bologna to Auronzo)
For those arriving from Bologna on the A13 BOLOGNA / PADOVA motorway, we point out that daily queues of a few kilometers are created in the section between Occhiobello and Rovigo, with increases / delays of about 40 minutes on the normal route.
For those arriving from Belluno with the SS51 Alemagna, we point out that due to roadworks there are deviations and queues in the Longarone area and deviations and queues in the Ospitale area, with increases/delays of about 20 minutes on the normal route. In particular, on the deviation of this last stretch (Ospitale), it is recommended to be careful during the tight curves with the C4 and K4 canoe trailers.
Always on a section of the Alemagna, at Domegge, there is a mobile traffic light reducing traffic to one lane due to roadworks.
In the town of Auronzo di Cadore asphalting works are underway on the main road that crosses the town but on 30/06 the affected section should be the one beyond the intersection of Piazza Vigo with Via Zardus (access to the competition area is along Via Zardus).
If you are travelling long distances, we suggest you make stops just before or after these areas.
WATER LEVEL CONDITIONS
The competition area of Lake Santa Caterina is formed by the dam on the Ansiei river. The riverbed between the bridges of Villapiccola (1000 meters start area) and Transacqua (finish area) is subject to gravel and debris removal works every year. Due to the commitment to the Covid 19 emergency, the Subjects who already have resources destined for these excavations (the Civil Protection in particular), were unable to proceed with the planned works last year and this year. It is recommended to pay attention to small gravel islets (depth approx. 50 cm) after the finish area and close to the bridge (the lanes located closer to the beach area).

Particular attention was paid by the organisation to welcoming foreign clubs / teams, both in terms of accommodation and in terms of technical sports assistance.
